New Audi RS 5 Unveiled
Audi has announced details of its new RS 5 which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
The New Audi RS 5 is based on the stunning A5 Coupe as a starting point, then add a powerful, high revving concept 4.2 litre V8 FSI engine and 7 speed dual clutch S tronic transmission delivers a car with 450PS and a 0-62mph time of just 4.6 seconds.
Production of the New RS 5 is due to commence in July 2010 with UK Launch scheduled for September 2010. Pricing starts from £57,480 OTR.

New VW Sharan Unveiled
The all new beautifully styled Sharan has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
The new seven-seat MPV features powerful but economical new petrol and diesel engines, a highly flexible seating system, twin sliding rear doors and BlueMotion Technology.
The New Sharan has a range of powerful but economical engines - two petrol and two diesel. The petrol engines include a bi-turbo 1.4-litre 150 PS TSI and a powerful 2.0-litre 200 PS TSI, which comes with the direct shift gearbox (DSG) as standard. The two diesel engines include a 2.0-litre 140 PS TDI and a 2.0-litre 170 PS TDI.
Prices and full specification will be announced nearer to the UK launch in August.

July launch for 89g/km Toyota Auris hybrid
Toyota will introduce a full hybrid version of the Auris in July 2010.
Revealed today at the Geneva motor show, the Auris HSD will be built in the UK and offered in two versions; an 89g/km emissions and 74.3mpg model and a 93g/km emissions and 70.6mpg version. Toyota has yet to explain what sets the two apart.
However, the Auris will share much of the hybrid engine technology fitted in the current generation Prius, including 1.8-litre petrol engine.
The model moves Toyota along its plan to offer a hybrid version of every model it makes by 2020.

New Hybrid Lexus CT200h
Lexus will launch a lower medium hybrid model at the end of this year, claiming it will be the lowest emitting model in its class.
The CT200h is powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine mated to an electric motor, and can run in electric mode alone for 1.2 miles at up to 28mph.
A luggage capacity of 345 litres puts it between the A3 and BMW’s smaller 1-series.

New VW Polo GTi
Volkswagen has announced that the New Polo GTi will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in early March.
The new Polo GTi comes with the quick-shifting seven-speed DSG gearbox as standard, along with an electronic XDS differential, as found on the Golf GTI and Golf GTD.
Inside, there's a sporty leather-wrapped three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, and body-hugging sports seats.
UK sales are due to start this summer.

The Most Efficient VW Polo Ever
The new Volkswagen Polo BlueMotion, which is forecast to emit a class-leading 91g of CO2 per kilometre, is now open for ordering.
The new Polo BlueMotion is forecast to achieve 80.7 mpg on the combined cycle, making it capable of almost 800 miles on one tank. The Polo BlueMotion also qualifies for free VED because of its low CO2 emissions.
The Polo BlueMotion will start from £14,445 OTR and will go into production week 14 (early April) with first customer deliveries expected in May 2010.

New Audi A1
Audi’s new 3-door supermini, the A1, will be available to order from May 2010 with prices from £13,000 OTR ahead of the car's launch in the UK towards the end of 2010.
Initially, there will be 2 petrol engines, a 1.2 and 1.4 TFSI, both at 119g/km, and a 1.6 TDI diesel emitting just 102g/km of CO2.
Standard features include alloy wheels, air conditioning, CD audio system with MP3 compatibility and ESP anti-skid control.
Full pricing and specification will be announced near the A1's debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

New Volkswagen Touareg Update
The all-new VW Touareg has been unveiled – a car that is up to 200 kg lighter and up to 20 per cent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model.
The new Touareg will feature an automatic 8-speed transmission as standard and on the majority of models, start/stop technology, touchscreen satellite navigation and leather upholstery.
The new Touareg model line-up for the UK will include the SE, Altitude, Hybrid and Escape.
The new Touareg will be available with the new Touareg Hyrid Engine - a new 3.3-litre supercharged V6 petrol producing 333 PS. Other engines available are the entry-level 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine generating 240 PS and the 4.2-litre TDI V8 engine producing 340 PS.

Revised BMW X5
BMW’s revised X5 line-up will include the range's first sub-200g/km models.
The entry-level xDrive30d emits 195g/km – a 10% improvement, yet produces 245bhp, up 10bhp on its predecessor with 38.2mpg consumption.
The replacement of the twin-turbocharged xDrive35d with the new xDrive40d sees a 10% improvement on emissions at 198g/km CO2 while delivering 37.7mpg on the combined cycle.
Top model the xDrive50i with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine has increased power of 53bhp, taking the total to 408bhp and 292g/km CO2. There are minor exterior changes, including revised bumpers and light, and new aluminium trim.
On sale on June 5, prices for the X5 range from £43,980 to £58,175.
The facelifted BMW X5 will have eight-speed automatic transmission and standard equipment including leather upholstery and xenon headlights.
Options available include lane departure warning, active cruise control, speed limit display and side-view cameras.

Revised Volvo S60
Volvo’s new S60, which goes on sale early summer, will debut at Geneva Motor Show in March.
Featuring Volvo’s pedestrian detection system with autobrake technology, two diesel and one petrol engines will be available. On offer is T6 AWD, a 3.0 petrol engine and D5 and D3, 2.4 and 2.0 diesels respectively. Petrol engines to be added during the first year of production include a 2.0 T5, and 1.6 T4 and T3. Its diesel 1.6 DRIVe with CO2 emissions below 115g/km and fuel consumption of 65.7mpg will also be introduced.

Volkswagen Polo Model Update
Volkswagen has announced that it will be introducing the BlueMotion and GTi models to the Polo range.
The Polo BlueMotion is expected to be priced from around £14,500 on the road and will feature the following as standard:
